Welcome to another year of Vendor Reviews! The amazing thing is that I
actually LOST weight eating snack food last year; you can read all about it in
my new book titled "Vending Machine Food and Other Things Your Body Won't
Digest". This week the machine features FOUR Andy Capp products, so this week
we'll feature the one which has "New" printed on the bag.
Andy Capp has become well known for their line of snacks which boil down to nothing more than styra-foam packing peanuts with a particular seasoning sprinkled on them. While this may sound undesirable in theory, they actually make a great snack.
Andy Capp has now introduced Hot Chili Cheese to their line up. In weather like this, it's important to choose a snack which not only delights the taste buds, but also warms the tummy a bit. And this snack does the trick. The ingredients say cheddar, romano, parmesan (pronounced Par Me San), and Blue cheese, but the cheddar definitely rules the bunch. And the "Hot Chili" part of the description is a little misleading; the chili part refers to the chili powder added to the snack. The snack is not actually trying to replicate the bowl type chili flavor, which I was disappointed to find out.
Other than that, this snack is an excellent addition to the already quality line up of Andy Capp snacks (except for their "Hot Fries"...they suck). A Mt. Dew makes a great chaser to put out the fire.
