Hiiiiidee Ho! Ya'll smell nice and flowery! It's another and first of the year addition of Vendor Reviews! My New Years Resolution was to not make any more resolutions. I had of course failed as soon as I said this.
Another Year 2000 FYI: Are your favorite chips Year 2000 compliant? If the "Sell By" date only says "MAR 26 00", you may be eating chips 100 years old! (Maybe 200 years old if they're Doritos!).I know what you're thinking; I've already reviewed these. Wrong! These are Cheese Pizza Flavor, not Pizza Flavor which is "Cheesier!". Also, I noticed something else....they are no longer made by our tree friends the Keeblers! Apparently they have sold the product rights to the O'Boisie Corporation, which doesn't even HAVE a WEB page, unlike the Keeblers where you can get a friendly elf to send you e-mail once a week (I like their disclaimer: "Don't expect a reply back").
Anyway, the chips never tasted better! That's not really saying much :-), but it seems new management has taken the time to actually put some effort into these Pizza snacks. And for 60 cents, you get a whopping 1.75 oz of product, which makes it the best bag for your buck in the machine.
The flavor is somewhat like before, but now I can definitely taste a distictive attempt at a pasta sauce. However, the cheeze flavor still escapes me. Regardless, the flavor is good, yet not overpowering which makes you crave more!
For something different and filling, give them a shot.
