The vending machine has had a streak of creative foods; all kinds of neat stuff. And Star Wars came out this week (One thing has always bothered me; in ESB, when Han leaves to look for Skywalker on Hoth, he tells someone "Then I'll see you in hell!" That means they have some sort of concept of Christianity. Yet they worship the Force. Won't they all go to hell? I guess Han meant what he said.)

This weeks review:

Hostess Blueberry Mini Muffins

I know what your thinking; "Muffins in the vending machine?". I understand; when I saw this I was about as confused as Beavis when the TV was missing ("Noo.....Noo.....heeeelp....Nooo....")

Anyway, it's a novel idea to have a breakfast type food in the vending machine, so I thought I'd give them a try. Upon opening the bag, I found the inside of the bag was coated with some greasy/butter type substance. Don't let that scare you. Inside are six half-dollar shaped muffins. Place on a napkin in the microwave for 20 seconds (napkin not included) and your breakfast is ready.

The blueberry muffins are blueberry muffins. Not as flakey as home-made (actually, they're a little spongy), but the flavor is acceptable. Just enough to tide you over till lunch. Milk would be a good chaser, but since there is none in the vending area, we will use a proper substitute: Mt. Dew (which also happens to be a proper substitute for coffee, prozac, no-doz, jet fuel, etc...)
