Start cringing, because it's another episode of Vendor Reviews! Summer is approaching, and more and more of these foods I've been reviewing will be showing up at picnics and barbeques. Be smart; know your snacks! You're life might just DEPEND on it!

This weeks review:

Pepperoni! Pizza Flavor Pizzarias Pizza Chips

Thank goodness they put enough references to "Pizza" in their title; I might get confused with the all the POTATO flavored Pizza chips there are on the market today.

I know, I know. I know what you're thinking. I've ALREADY reviewed Pizzarias Pizza chips TWICE now. WELL YOU ARE STILL WRONG! These are PEPPERONI flavored! Also, the chip has changed companies AGAIN! (Geez, would somebody kill this thing already??). Now they are owned by WASHBASH FOODS, LLC.

It seems like no company wants to keep this chip and I can see why; just look at this laundry list of ingredients! It must cost a fortune to make a bag of these chips! I counted around 50 distinct ingredients (salt was listed 5 times, but they were different salts!).

There were two ingredients which really puzzled me. The first was "degerminated yellow corn grits". What the hell is this?? They got Granny working in the kitchen now?? Oh yes, lower down they list possum! (Oh wait, that's "potassium") Whatever it is, it is disjunct from "degerminated yellow corn flour", 'cause they list that seperately. Being from Iowa, and having NEVER heard of anything refered to as "corn grits", I can only assume they genetically altered the corn to grow grits, and then CHOPPED THEM OFF!

The second was "reduced iron" -- as opposed to the full iron they usually put in?? I just don't get it. Isn't it still iron, whether they reduce it or not? If they just put in less iron, why not just slide it down further on the ingredients list?

Dumbasses.

Anyway, they still taste the same (ie pizza crust). However, no sign whatsoever of pepperoni flavoring. So HE's dead. That's it!
