Fritos has released another mutation of it's popular corn chips: Texas style. A much more suitable replacement from the Chilli version that is usually in the machine.
These chips are claimed to have Texas Grill flavor. Examination of the chip reveals "sear" marks, apparently from the grill, but further examination revealed they were gimmicky food colored stripes. These chips are fatter than the original (apparently so they don't fall through the grill :-))
Anyway, the flavor is fairly good. A little spicy; just enough for you to want more. They taste a little like Doritos, but without the obnoxious aftertaste. Goes well with a Mountain Dew in the morning.A nice change from the old reliable. Give them a try!
