Happy Halloween to you gobbling goblins! It's time for another frightening
epside of vendor rewiews. This weeks most frightening event...the prices in
the vending machine rose! It's now 60 cents for a bag of chips! At last, the
true cause behind the drop in the stock market has been discovered!
Now I know what your thinking; Kruncher's is most popular for it's inovative jalepeno flavored chips which did for potato chips what Nirvana did for grunge music. But they also have BQ Flavored chips which are decent, and also regular flavored chips (non-flavored?).
The regular flavored chips come in a black bag, which is appropriate for this holiday season (hey, who knows, maybe even the vending company coordinates snacks foods with holidays...maybe for Christmas they'll have a bunch of sugar Sno-Balls in the vending machine). The thing that might be overlooked is that fact that these chips only have THREE ingredients in it's list: Potatoes, Vegetable Oil (Peanut or Corn), and Salt.
These chips are crunchy, and have a good natural flavor too them. I personally like more salty chips than these, but the lack of salt doesn't make them bad. I think I got a peanut oil bag (since according to the ingredients it is one or the other), so I'll have to get a corn oil bag and compare the flavors.
Anyway, a good amount of hearty chips make it a good snack for those who don't want the regular snack aftertaste all day. A good alternative to Ruffles or Lay's chips. Throw some in your snack sack for halloween this year.
