My Texas Field Trip...

The following photos are a few that I took when Scott, Jim (WA1UWX) and myself took a trip out west to Texas and New Mexico in the early 1980's. It seemed as if these two guys were hunting for "rare" auto parts.

As for myself, it was a trip that I enjoyed very much. We left Hatfield Ma. on friday evening and arrived in the panhandle of Texas on Sunday about 2am.

We drove straight through taking turns. Those guys didn't care much for my driving. I am short and had a hard time seeing over the dashboard. We "acquired" a phone book for me to sit on so I could put in some driving time on the way home.

Country Gas This is a picture of Jim buying some gas at a station either in west Texas or New Mexico.
