• Abandoned Missile Silo Tour - Web-based tour of an abandoned missile silo someone got into. Very cool, somewhat bandwidth-intensive.
• Learn2.com - Well-written little tutorials on how to do useful little tasks from everyday life - tite a bowtie, start a campfire, etc...
• Andrian Kreye ...reportage @ - Online journalism, including a very cool look at the LAPD's helicopter police.

• Pulp Fiction Central - The literary genre, not the Tarantino flick.

• Walter John Williams' Home Page - Williams is an acclaimed S.F. author, and his page has links to samples of his work, details on his fight against Wired Magazine, and links to Hardwired: The Online Magazine a fiction and publishing industry e-zine he contributes to.

• World Wide Web Fights - A web page devoted to the types of silly, juvenile "Batman could SO take on Green Lantern!" matchups that everyone loves to argue about. Check out the WWWF Archives for all the old match-ups.
• Yankovic! - A cool Wierd Al page whose layout spoof Yahoo, right down to the ads. Does it say something about me that I like some of Wierd Al's parodies better than the originals? "Amish Paradise," for one.
• The Exploding Mac - They blew up a Macintosh! And they have quicktimes!

• The Ultimate Bands List - A huge index for musical groups
• The Rough Guide to Rock - An online rock encyclopedia, with useful info.
• Shonen L.A. - A huge site for fans of Shonen Knife, Japan's #1 retro-guitar-pop idol singers.

Grand Wierdness

• Spinal Tap Home Page - The official home page for one of England's loudest bands.
• Hell's Buddhas - A web page hyping a motorcycle trip across India. "Born to be Serene."
• People Eating Tasty Animals - This site used to be at www.peta.org, but they made them change it. A site poking fun at the extremist animal-rights organization PETA, and offering links to counter-propaganda sites. You just have to admire the chutspah
