Role-Playing Games

I started out playing D&D in junior high, which went on for a couple of years, then gradually petered out. I picked it up again in college, and participated in one campaign or another throughout my college days. I still play in an ongoing campaign that started in college, and at P.A.G.E., the Philadelphia Area Gaming Enthusiasts, a club that meets in northeast Philly. It's fun! It has some of the satisfying aspects of making up a story, or acting out a role in a skit, but there's usually also collaborative problem-solving, socialization and humor. An altogether worthwhile activity to do with your friends around the kitchen table!
