Eighteen years experience as a technical writer. Assignments included software documentation for military and commercial software packages, Internet site development and advertising, and maintenance manuals for military, industrial, biomedical, and avionic electronics equipment. In-depth, working knowledge of analog and digital electronics, microprocessor controlled electronics equipment, computer software, military specifications, logistic support analysis, and publication procedures.

Wrote installation and maintenance manual for OmniMCU cable television transponder control unit. Wrote on-line and hard copy documentation for OmniVU cable television monitoring/testing control system software. Here's a sample of the User Guide I created for the OmniVU software package. Under contract to Ernst & Young LLP, Washington, DC

Wrote procedures to manually test user interface and program stability for Prosper 2.0 and ProProsper Windows 95 based software products. Here's one of the test scripts I created for ProProsper. (Adobe Acrobat format - 96K.)

Under contract to Rhône-Poulenc Rorer, Collegeville, PA

Wrote macro based, automated system for generation of Standard Operating Procedures using MS WordBasic. Wrote software requirements documents and software technical reference documentation for Information Systems group. Wrote updates to user documentation for COSMIS order processing software. Wrote FDA compliance validation protocols for in-house software packages and departmental procedures related to software implementation. Instructed VisualBasic programmers on the generation and integration of MS Windows help files for use with proprietary applications. Wrote help files for Digiday daily planner applications designed to run under MS Windows 95. Here's a simple example of one of the help files I produced for VisionX. (Windows Help File - pkzipped - 39K.)

Under contract to Sungard Planning Solutions, Inc., Wayne, PA

Wrote on-line and hard copy documentation for CBR (Comprehensive Business Recovery Planning) MS Windows based software. On-line documentation consisted of MS Windows help file composition and generation (using RoboHelp). Hard copy documentation included a methodology guide, user guide, and system installation guide.
