The Component Parts.

The war-surplus eyepiece (M17 elbow telescope) removed from its focusing mount,
the threaded ring (originally an attachment for a rubber eyeguard),
a piece of sink-drain tubing threaded to mount the eyepiece in a 1.25" telescope focuser,
and a piece of 1" steel pipe threaded on one end to fit the threaded ring (which is used as a coupler).
