Meet the Receptionist
Jen Shea
There are two Jennifers picking up your calls here at the front desk. I am the "other one". I joined South Putnam Animal Hospital in 1995 and I really enjoy what I am doing, especially meeting and greeting our clients and their pets. With 6 cats, 1 dog, my husband and I are living proof of the old adage, "There is always room for one more".

My Two Bears
A Poem by J.B.
Tookie is my bear.
He's orange and white
pink paw pads, pink nose
and he's covered with stripes.
He's long and he's slender
with almond shaped eyes
and a little orange mustache,
a clever disguise.
Tookie's brother is Ratso,
my other bear
a brown and white tabby
they're quite a pair!
Ratso's smart and he's sweet
and meows like a bird.
He's shy and quiet at first,
but always has the last word.
He accepts you by rubbing
his face on your hands.
He drops down for a belly rub
if you don't meet his demands.
They're both very different
but I love them the same.
They make me so happy
to them life's a game.
It's catnip and toys and
naps in the sun.
They wrestle sometimes
but it's all in good fun.
I can come home from work
and forget all my cares
with fuzzy faces to greet me.
My two little bears.
