Why do we sing, dance and play in the Schulwerk the way we do? Understanding our history unlocks a beautiful process of beginning with intention and creating beautiful works of choreography and composition along the way. Join us in an exploration of music and movement that will bring deep understanding as well as aesthetics to every learner.


Bio:
Laura Webster B.A., MMEd., has taught Early Childhood through High School School music for 15 years at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Laura has Orff Schulwerk and Kodaly Certification and serves as the Vice President for the Greater Cleveland Chapter of American Orff Schulwerk. Webster teaches movement for all three Levels of Orff certification and has been published in the Orff Echo. Laura is the choral director and project manager for the Crooked River Choral Project for Music is Elementary. She presents workshops at the local and national level.
