1. Dewitt Taylor¹ Brooks (#1011) was born in Newport News, Virginia July 29, 1894. Dewitt died August 10, 1956 at 62 years of age. His body was interred in Newport News, Virginia, Greenlawn Cemetery.

He married Frances Mae Smith. (Frances Mae Smith is #1012.) Frances was born in Chester, Virginia October 25, 1899.

Dewitt Taylor Brooks and Frances Mae Smith had the following child:
