2. Grover Alexander² Goolsby Sr (Read Alexander¹) (#1747) was born in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia January 18, 1886. Grover died May 23, 1957 at 71 years of age.

He married Mary Annie Jennings in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia, June 28, 1919. (Mary Annie Jennings is #781.) Mary was born in Clifford, Virginia May 30, 1900. Mary was the daughter of Benjamin (Ben) Leonard Jennings and Bettie (Mary Elizabeth) Miller. Mary died April 03, 1955 at 54 years of age. Her body was interred in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia, Fort Hill Memorial Park.

Grover Alexander Goolsby Sr and Mary Annie Jennings had the following children:

4 ii. June Rose Goolsby (#1754) was born in Madison Heights, Virginia January 19, 1926. June died November 23, 1966 at 40 years of age. She married William Farrior Palmer Sr. (William Farrior Palmer Sr is #1755.) (See William Farrior Palmer Sr for the continuation of this line.)
