He married Dorothy Phyllis Coffey August 28, 1960. (Dorothy Phyllis Coffey is #2662.) Dorothy was born in Waynesboro, Augusta County, Virginia May 15, 1943. Dorothy was the daughter of Lewis E. Coffey and Myra Ora Nuckols. Dorothy died July 23, 1992 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, at 49 years of age.

Paul W. Kemberling and Dorothy Phyllis Coffey had the following children:

3 i. Wanda J.³ Kemberling (#2800) was born in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland July 11, 1961. She married twice. She married Thomas R. Lewis III. (Thomas R. Lewis III is #2915.) Thomas was born in Charleston, Kanawha County, West Virginia October 10, 1961. She married Gregory C. Paska November 13, 1979. (Gregory C. Paska is #2912.) 4 ii. Karen L. Kemberling (#2802) was born in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland August 13, 1967. Karen died August 14, 1967 in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland, at less than one year of age.

5 iii. Paula J. Kemberling (#2801) was born in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland August 19, 1970. She married Norman R. Petterson Jr. (Norman R. Petterson Jr is #2916.) Norman was born in Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland July 13, 1965. Norman is the son of Norman R Petterson Sr and Geraldine. (See Norman R. Petterson Jr for the continuation of this line.)
