He married Mary Anne Riddle August 18, 1951. (Mary Anne Riddle is #215.) Mary was born November 12, 1929. Mary is the daughter of Richard Bernard Whitten and Nattie Riddle.

William Gordon Karch and Mary Anne Riddle had the following children:

3 i. Cynthia Ann³ Karch (#219) was born November 27, 1952.

4 ii. David Meade Karch (#220) was born December 15, 1955.
