1. Robert Homer¹ Nuckols (#237) was born in Amherst County, Virginia April 13, 1898. Robert died May 3, 1976 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia, at 78 years of age. His body was interred May 6, 1976 in Allwood, Virginia, El Bethel United Meth Church Cem.

He married Cecil Ora Whitten August 02, 1918. (Cecil Ora Whitten is #236.) Cecil was born in Amherst County, Virginia January 12, 1904. Cecil was the daughter of Marvin Harrison Whitten and Hattie Pearl Stinnett. Cecil died April 9, 1972 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia, at 68 years of age. Her body was interred in Allwood, Virginia, El Bethel United Meth Church Cem.

Robert Homer Nuckols and Cecil Ora Whitten had the following children:

2 i. Myrtle Elizabeth² Nuckols (#2628) was born Febuary 24, 1920. Myrtle died March 15, 1920 at less than one year of age.

3 ii. Myra Ora Nuckols (#2629) was born Febuary 23, 1921. She married twice. She married Lewis E. Coffey. (Lewis E. Coffey is #2659.) (See Lewis E. Coffey for the continuation of this line.) She married George O. Hunt in Baltimore, Maryland, June 16, 1953. (George O. Hunt is #2663.) George was born in Baltimore, Maryland July 8, 1915. George is the son of Oliver Hunt and Alice.

4 iii. Marvin Edward Nuckols (#2630) was born in Amherst County, Virginia July 8, 1923. Marvin died October 28, 1991 in Pleasent View, Amherst County, Virginia, at 68 years of age. His body was interred October 31, 1991 in Allwood, Virginia, Allwood Cemetery.

+ 5 iv. Clarence Walter Nuckles was born October 3, 1925.

6 v. Robert Homer Nuckols Jr (#2632) was born 1927. Robert died 1927 at less than one year of age.

+ 7 vi. Rufus Earl Nuckols was born June 23, 1929.

+ 8 vii. Robert Buren Nuckols was born May 6, 1932.

9 viii. Joanne Nuckols (#2635) was born in Pleasent View, Amherst County, Virginia March 26, 1934. She married Thomas Jasper Davis in Pleasent View, Amherst County, Virginia, March 15, 1958. 10 ix. Pearl Marie Nuckols (#2636) was born in Pleasent View, Amherst County, Virginia March 5, 1936. She married Cecil Gray Coles in Pleasent View, Amherst County, Virginia, Nobember 16, 1957. (Cecil Gray Coles is #2689.) Cecil was born in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia December 18, 1928. Cecil was the son of Marion Brady Coles and Mamie Louise Baldwin. Cecil died June 2, 1991 in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia, at 62 years of age. His body was interred June 5, 1991 in Forest, Bedford County, Virginia, Virginia Memorial Gardens.
