1. Charles Murray¹ Wingfield (#1160) was born May 27, 1913. Charles died November 11, 1951 at 38 years of age. His body was interred Fort Hill Memorial Park.

He married Annie Laura Brizendine in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia, May 29, 1940. (Annie Laura Brizendine is #1159.) Annie was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia June 9, 1915. Annie is the daughter of James (Jim) Alexander Brizendine and Gracie Ann Miller.

Charles Murray Wingfield and Annie Laura Brizendine had the following children:

2 i. Rose Marie² Wingfield (#1161) was born in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia August 27, 1941. She married Earnest Smiley Staton Jr May 26, 1956. (Earnest Smiley Staton Jr is #1162.) 3 ii. Linda Carolyn Wingfield (#1164) was born in Lynchburg, Lynchburg, Virginia May 18, 1943. She married twice. She married John Cyrus. (John Cyrus is #1165.)
