2. George William² Womeldorf (William¹) (#2015) was born March 23, 1861. George died September 12, 1928 at 67 years of age.

He married Lillie Belle Clements December 15, 1887. (Lillie Belle Clements is #1920.) Lillie was born in Willow, Amherst County, Virginia April 6, 1866. Lillie was the daughter of James P. (Lanlord) Clements and Eliza Jane Allen. Lillie died February 12, 1940 at 73 years of age. Her body was interred in Lexington, Virginia, Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.

George William Womeldorf and Lillie Belle Clements had the following children:

3 i. William Henry³ Womeldorf (#2018) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia February 9 1889. William died November 6, 1968 at 79 years of age.

4 ii. Catherine Vernon Womeldorf (#2019) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia June 17, 1890. Catherine died February 9 1942 at 51 years of age.

5 iii. Mamie Jane Womeldorf (#2020) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia December 30, 1891.

6 iv. Raymond George Womeldorf (#2021) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia September 7, 1893. He married Mary Elizabeth Gotchins June 21, 1923. (Mary Elizabeth Gotchins is #2022.)

7 v. Maude Lillian Womeldorf (#2023) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia December 22, 1895.

8 vi. Joshua Curtis Womeldorf (#2024) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia February 3, 1898.

9 vii. Herman James Womeldorf Rev. (#2025) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia July 27, 1901. He married Ruth Neal Walker June 17, 1937. (Ruth Neal Walker is #2026.)

10 viii. Cora Belle Womeldorf (#2027) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia March 17, 1904.

11 ix. Florence Sarah Womeldorf (#2028) was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia January 6, 1906.
