Orange under long wave UV, this Hackmanite in calcite specimen also exhibits Tenebrescence, which means that it literally changes it's daylight color. The orange fl. areas are the hackmanite, which turn deep reddish violet when exposed to short wave UV light, then fade to almost no color at all when exposed to sunlight. This change cycle is repeatable.
