Legoland (1982- ) The Classic Show

Welcome to a page dedicated to the most popular show in JBC history. Sure, Reconstruction is considered by critics to be the best, but it is less than one year old. Legoland has been thriving for 13 years. It is a unique show, that combines side-splitting comedy with spine-tingling adventure and tear wrenching drama. Part soap opera, part sitcom it has survived partly because it is a show made up of characters; characters that come to life before the viewer's eyes.

First, let's examine the basic plot:

Set in the small town of Legoland, Nebraska, the series revolves around the doings of Joeirez G. Cosel, (Joe Cosel), the billionare real estate developer who comes to town to construct a world class hotel for a town of only 500 people. Legoland itself was founded in 1971 by George A. legoland, inventer of Lego blocks as an experimental town in which all would live for free. The experiment lasted all of two years. Though Legoland had made a fortune of $25 million dollars in the toy industry, he could not long sustain the needs of the growing community.

So Legoland was forced to begin charging his residents. The population tumbled, and the town stoop on the verge of complete bankruptcy by 1977. Legoland's dream of a free city had come to an end, and the brilliant toy king had spent his last dime on a frivilous adventure.
