Download Instructions

The Handbook is available for download in several formats: Miscrosoft Word, PDF* (Adobe Portable Document Format), HTML**, and RTF*** (Rich Text Format)--- for both Windows PCs and Macintoshes. If you can't get one to work, try another. To download, simply click in the table below on either "PC" or "Macintosh" opposite the format desired.

PC Users: The file you download will be an executable program. Unless your browser decompresses (unzips) it automatically, double-click it to decompress it and obtain a folder containing all the chapters.

MAC users: The file you download is a Stuffit archive (.sit). Unless your browser decompresses (unstuffs) it automatically, just double-click it to have Stuffit Expander decompress it. You will get a folder containing all ther chapters. (If you don't have Stuffit Expander, you can download it for free from Aladdin Systems .)

*To read the chapters in PDF format, you will need the free utility Adobe Acrobat Reader: unless your browser already has a PDF plug-in.
**To read the chapters in HTML format, open them with your web browser.

***RTF files can be read by most word processing programs, including Microsoft Word.
