Here's What You Can Do
-
The legal expenses in this case have been tremendous. Help by making a
tax-deductible contribution to the Amirault Defense Fund. Send your
check with a note that it is for the Amirault defense to:
The National Center for Reason and Justice
POB 230414
Boston MA 02123-0414
You may also donate via the NCRJ using a credit card.
-
Send Gerald an email of support.
-
Write a letter to the editor. The media coverage, especially in Massachusetts,
has been inadequate and/or biased. The major problems have been the The
Boston Globe and The Boston Phoenix. The Phoenix has
a good record of printing letters disagreeing with its articles. The Globe
does not, and the Globe promoted Harshbarger's bid for the state
house. But if they get enough letters, they can't ignore them.
-
Get the word out in other ways. If you're a writer, write about the case
your self. Talk to your family, friends, and co-workers. Most of those
who think the Amiraults are guilty, or who spout clichés like "where
there's smoke there's fire," simply don't know any of the relevant facts.
Post information on the internet. Place information, or links to information,
on your home page.
-
