The
Atkins Low Carb diet is an amazing diet that is actually no
"diet" at all, it's a completely new way of eating that for
many, becomes a new way of life!
There are hundreds of diets out there that will temporarily take your weight off, but very few that will help feel so much more energized, healthier in so many different ways and keep the weight off for a lifetime! This way of eating will help many find, for perhaps the first time, a life that involves not just weight loss, but wellness! Dr. Atkins wrote the first edition his book decades ago. The ideas in it are nothing new, they were around for decades before that, and were used successfully and safely by athletes and body builders. This is, as Dr. Atkins says, "an unabashed feel-good diet, a full-energy diet, a lifetime-wellness diet." The trick? Eliminate carbohydrates from your diet. Ditch sugar and starch. That simple. Too simple?? In fact, in today's society, it is common to find people that are actually "carb addicts", hooked on sugars, or starchy foods. We've become a society of junk food junkies, craving our "fix" of heavily sugared foods and drinks, and the foundation for most meals has become starches.
