| What are the "Numbers" > What are the numbers one sees after many people's names when they post to the mailing list? Is it a "secret code"??? ***Tongue planted firmly in cheek... :o)*** <<<pseudo Boris Karloff voice on>>> OOOOHHH! Yes, it's a VERY secret code!! First, you must become an initiate of the Sacred Order of the Atkinites, for us to tell you about it.... then you must take the sacred rite of passage, then you will be given the Code! All initiates must read the sacred text entitled Dr. Atkins Diet Revolution. Once in possession of the sacred scroll, you must read it, and then you will be asked to perform a very sacred rite that will let you fully enter into the fellowship of the Sacred Order of the Atkinites. First, you must rid your home of "unclean" items - the sacred text will tell you what those are. Then you must commit to a two week purification ritual, and again, the sacred scrolls will tell you how to do that as well. At the same time, you must in your mind and in your heart commit yourself to the rites of the Sacred Order of the Atkinites, and they number three, exactly three, no more than three and no less. Not four, nor five, and six is way, way out! Three is exactly the number, only count to three! 1. eliminate all empty carbs from your diet, most especially including the blasphemous items, white flour, white rice, and the spawn of hell itself, sugar. 2. once past the initial two week stage of preparation and purification, you must determine the level of carbs that will allow you to continue to live in a healthy, and sacred fashion. This will mean that you continue to lose the ungodly poundage from your body, as the mighty god Wayteloss demands, and that you endeavor to maintain a state that is in communion with the god Ketosys. The sacred scrolls and this secret group of fellow Atkinites will assist you in this endeavor. 3. You must partake of the sacred fluid, the nectar of the gods Wayteloss and Ketosys, water, and in sufficient amounts to please them. They are demanding gods, and require no less than 8 glasses per day. They will take note of your devotion to this ritual and will reward you well.
