Jesus challenges us to live lives that are
holy. All of us are called to be His
disciples!
We must not only be pure and holy in our thoughts and actions, but we must ACT in a way that shows others our Faith. |
"Love is
patient and love is kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not rude or selfish or mean; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy only with truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal. ...these three remain, faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. " 1 Cor.

Chastity is the virtue by which we treat our own and others'
sexuality with respect. It is the understanding that God asks us to
respect our bodies and the bodies of others, and to use our sexuality in
ways that are not only appropriate, but lead to holiness.
In the context of a single person, chastity is the abstinence of sexual relations with anyone, in order to remain pure. For married people, it means
renouncing sexual relations with anyone except one's spouse.
God has granted us the priceless gift of being partners with Him in the act of Creation. The creation of new life is a blessing and a great responsibility! |

We believe that
within the Sacrament of Marriage, the spouse is an image of God, a vessel
of grace, and "a precious gift which God has given in the form of the soul
of the beloved." This precious treasure must be cherished, must be
held with honor, close to one's heart. | ||
"Everybody's doing it" is simply not true. The Bible teaches us that the gift of
sexuality is a fundamental part of creation. God created it, and
said "it is good". Because it is a treasure given to us by God,
we are obligated to treasure each other when we use it. Millions
have decided to live a chaste and pure life, behaving in a way that gives
glory to God, and this great gift He has given us.. They have
learned to respect and cherish the gift of sexuality, and are
saving sex for when they have made a lifelong commitment to someone in
marriage. |
