You are listening to "Kayleigh", by Marillion

The way some folks talk, it seems they're asking this question a lot.  Especially lately.  And what I tell them is, simply, open your heart, and the answer will come to you...

I wonder if you'd tell me, please?

The experts all derided him,
They said it would never work.
Even his friends deserted him,
And left him in the lurch.

He left his family's business,
He made a crazy choice.
Left all of that to wander
And give his thoughts a voice.

He spent his time with just common folk
When there were more important contacts to be made.
He took his bread out to the park instead.
It's no wonder he never made the grade.

They say he'd eat with anyone,
Telemarketers, lawyers, and punks,
And if they forgot their own brown bag,
He'd give them his own lunch!

He was beaten right from the start,
When he said follow that golden rule,
'Cause we all know, in this here world,
Sometimes you just gotta be cruel.

So, here's the thing that really confuses me,
That this worthless guy,
This total loser,
This fashion disaster,
This criminal sentenced to die,

Whose entire career was one,
Of doing nothing that he should,
Who died next to a couple of crooks,
In agony nailed to a chunk of wood,

Has everyone still talking about him
And people everywhere
Think he's quite "The Man",
As they whisper
And say their nightly prayers.

Seems He turned out pretty well,
Not really quite sure how,
I wonder if you'd tell me, please?
All about that now?

Instructions:

E-Mail: If you want to send this to another friend, (and please feel free to do so!) simply right click on the url you will see up there on the tool bar at the top of the page, and copy it.  Then paste it into an e-mail to your friend, inviting them to come see this page, that you have a special message you want them to see!  This is the easiest way to send this page to someone else.

Send the link: With Internet Explorer, on your toolbar, at the top of the page, click on "file", then "send" and select "send link by e-mail" It works pretty much the same with Netscape, too...   Don't select "send PAGE by e-mail", by the way, as it will then insert the entire page into your e-mail letter, and the graphics won't show up on the other end... and it will be annoying...  Just send the link.

ICQ: On ICQ it's even easier!   Simply open up your ICQ console, with this site open as well, and click on the name of someone on your contact list and then click on  where is says "Webpage Address (URL)", and the address will be sent to them automatically!  You can also click on the little "more" button, and send this page to more than one user, all at the same time, through ICQ! (Fun, isn't it?)

Web TV: If you are a webTV user and all you do is hit OPTIONS while you have this page open, then put the box around SEND and key in e-mail address you want to send it to, and hit SEND.
