The library facility is 29,000 square feet.
Besides the large reading room/reference area, the library features a Group Projects Room, three Conference Rooms, a Media Production Room, and a Professional Library.
Additionally, Department Offices for the Social Studies, English, Science and Mathematics Departments are housed off the Professional Library.
The library's design was conceived by School Library Media Specialist Jim Grasela.
Design was executed by A.Anthony Tappe and Associates of Boston, Massachusetts. A. Anthony Tappe, Principal.
Mr. Duncan Todd, Architect, was the Project's lead architect.

The library building project began in earnest in the mid-1980's with the selection of a Designer Selection Committee which chose Tappe Associates of Boston as the design architect.
Construction began in 1988, and the project was completed in December of 1989.
In addition to the library, four business technology classrooms, two computer writing labs, a programming lab, an earth science lab and a physics lab were added as a second story to the addition.
