Apponequet Regional High School Library

Our Collections

The Apponequet Regional High School Library collects information in many formats including books, periodicals, vertical file materials, and microfiche.

In addition, materials are available on computer, online, cd-rom, and on film.

Our collection presently exceeds 22,500 items. Many of these items are books, the most commonly-known items found in libraries.

This includes a large non-fiction collection as well as a fiction collection which contains books which range from young adult fiction to popular fiction to classics.

Click here for our Collection Development and Mission Statements.

Our collections are linked through our electronic card catalog, or OPAC (on-line public access catalog).

The entire collection of books, media and vertical file are cataloged and available to you by searching the OPAC.

The card catalog and circulation systems are maintained by Follett Software Systems. This system was completely updated in 1997 and converted to a Windows format in 1998. It is updated regularly.

Our card catalog may also be accessed through MassCat, a online, web-based system available on our homepage:
