Not exactly a self-portrait, but I dig it.

I write. It's my hobby and my preferred activity. Like all writers, I have a day job, but it's just a day job. I am not my job, but I am a writer.

I write Science Fiction, mostly short stories, although I am of course hard at work on my own version of the Great American Novel, or the Great Earthling Novel at any rate.

I am currently unpublished. O woe is me the great unappreciated artist boo hoo hoo. Oh well, on the Internet, I can have as valid a publishing presence as the three or four mega-conglomerates that own eighty percent of the media outlets in existence!

My electrons are as good as theirs!

So here is some of my fiction, some of it is Science Fiction in the strictest sense of the term, some is Science Fiction in the loosest sense, and some of it is uncomfortable being held into any one genre, and I really hope you like it. Use my ubiquitous mail link to tell me what you think. I'm a good listener, honest.

Dubby Grooves - Communication is a wonderful thing

The Sticks and Stones God - A fantasy

King Mittens - A nanotech ditty about a cat and circumstance. My homage to change.

Impact - A chapter from my novel The Other Twentieth Century

Encounter - Another chapter from my novel The Other Twentieth Century

The Revolution, When It Begins - We have all been there at one time or another

Lincoln - I always thought old Honest Abe was hopelessly typecast

Lenin - Karma hard at work

The Miukusk Bush - To them, it's very sexy

How to Shoot Back - Be brave.

Inverse Equation - Everything is relative

Night Watchman - Just doing his job
