My Canadian progenitor,John Loverin was b June 16,1746,Hampton,son of John and Anna Sanborn Lovering. John declared his continued allegiance to King George 111 and joined the Provincial Navy in 1782. After coming to Canada he claimed land and stated he had lost all his possessions in Raymond,New Hampshire because, contrary to the balance of the family, he decided not to support George Washington. However, I wonder if he did not sell his land when he left New Hampshire. I am attempting to compile as much data as possible on this early New England family and particularly the Canadian descendants. Do you know if there are cemetery listings for Raymond and immediate surroundings? Would also be interested in any research conducted on this family that you folks in Raymond may be aware of. Thanks kindly,
Don Kennett,

This whole family of children all lived to grow up, but the mother, Mary Fogg died at 45 years, the father who was athmatic died at about 60. The father of Enoch Osgood had four wives; the father of Mary Fogg also had four wives." Is this Mary Fogg the reported to have erected one stone to John Fogg died Oct 10 1828 aged 87 years etc. in "Ye Old Neighborhood" Cemetery, Hampton? He didn't know the place in Europe/ UK/ ? where the family came from. Can anyone help and was his wife Agnes or Anna SMITH? Seems like if her maiden name was known, than it follows that the source would be some kind of marriage record. Has anyone found such? Thanks for any clue, or source you can recommend. Marianne.
