HOSPITALITY

· Chairpersons decide the menu, contact parents for donation (baked goods, water, pasta, hotdogs, bagels), organize workers, keep leftovers (bottled water, soda, candy), setup and tear down.  Contact David Carmichael for paper products. 

 

JANUARY LOTTERY TICKETS

· A program to distribute during meets.

· A year end book will be published using pictures submitted by swimmers, divers and parents.  They can be submitted by cd.

· Work with coaches and swimmers to order sportswear, collect money, and distribution of items.

SENIOR NIGHT

 

Chairperson - Kathie Biggs, Carol Carmichael & Sally Black

 

· Senior parents organize Senior Night.  Parents of seniors make signs to post around the pool (one individual, one for the team).  Balloons and flowers are purchased, usually by the parents with some funding from the booster club.  Either parents (this would be new) or swimmers can escort the swimmers during the presentation.  Senior night is usually the last home meet. 

· A senior program is printed which includes pictures and a write-up about the seniors. Donna Pollard will be working on this.

 

PUBLICITY

 

Chairperson - Kristine Cosgrove

 

· This person should work with the coaches for submitting the meets, pictures or contacting the media about big meets.

 

PASTA PARTIES

 

· No chairperson needed.  Coaches will decide which meets to have parties before.  Once decided, parents can volunteer.  May also have it organized for Seniors – Pasta, Juniors – Salads, Sophomores – Desserts, Freshman – Drinks.  (Carmichaels will supply paper products)

 

50-50 FUNDRAISER

· Volunteer to run Meet Manager at home meets and help keep score at away meets.  These times will help the coach to keep track of swimmer’s progress and district qualifying times
