Abhinay and his new soccer ball

One of the things that we were told about Abhinay was that he loved to play soccer and cricket. Well, not knowing how to play cricket and wanting him to feel at home, one of the first things I got for him was a soccer ball.

Strangely enough, he did not seem too interested in it. I finally realized that he probably did not know what to do with it, since he had never really seen a real soccer ball. Ann and I went out in the back yard and started booting it around, and he picked it up really quickly.

Now he's a real champ, and I can't wait to get him playing with other kids. As for the cricket, I'm going to try and pass off T-ball as cricket. Hopefully, he won't be too confused by the change.
