NICHOLAS JAMES ABBOTT IS HERE!

It's a BOY! Julie went into New Haven hospital around 9:30 AM on April 7, 2005, and gave birth to Nicholas James that night. She was induced, and in good spirits throughout the day. Nicholas was born on April 7, 2005, at 6:52 PM at the Yale New Haven Hospital. He weighed 7lbs 14oz, and measured 19.5 inches. The whole family is happy for his arrival and everyone seems to be doing very well. He's got blue eyes, and brown hair. Looks almost exactly like Mac did as a child! I've posted the first gallery and I will be creating Nick's site soon.

Here's one of our favorite pictures. Click on the photo to enlarge. The photo was taken in August 2004, on our trip to St. Lucia. I was featured on the cover of Connecticut Parent Magazine! The photo was taken in December 2003, but was featured on the December 2004 copy of Connecticut Parent. You can click on the photo for an enlarged version as well. And for those of you who are wondering, this is an actual magazine!

Hi Everyone. Look, it's me, only two days old! I was born on March 25, 2003!

Julie went to the Dr. that am with signs of early labor, was 2cm dialated & 90% effaced. She was sent down to the hospital for monitoring where it was discovered her water had broken. She was induced around noon, went into active labor at 4p, & delivered 3 hrs. later. Only 20 mins of pushing! Early arrival, but just in time for his own baby shower! He wakes up once at night & is awakened for feedings.
