What do we repair?
We can repair most things made of sterling silver, pewter, brass, copper,
or metals plated with silver or gold. Lost and missing parts can
be fabricated or duplicated. Articles from loved ones that have been
in the family for years are worth preserving for your pleasure and for
the pleasure of future generations. Treasures you have found at sales
or at antique shops are also worth restoring.
Repairing & Silver plating
Each piece is stripped to the base metal, repaired and cleaned. It
is then hand buffed to its original finish. A heavy coat of pure
silver is then deposited over the entire surface. Once the piece
is plated, it is then polished and inspected. You now have a beautiful
and useful treasure to enjoy for many years, and to hand down to future
generations.
Copper & Brass
Also included in the many services we offer is the restoration of copper
and brass. Lamps, lighting fixtures, fireplaces, door and cabinet
hardware are among the many items we restore and refinish. We can
also clear coat lacquer to protect the finish.
Old Pewter
We can restore pewter by removing nicks, dents, scratches, corrosion and
oxidation and then hand buff it to either the bright or the traditional
satin finish.
