Dr. Judith Kates
Dr. Judith Kates received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University where she taught for eleven years. She is currently Visiting Associate Professor of Jewish Women's Studies at Hebrew College and teaches Bible and Rabbinics in many programs of adult education in the Jewish community. She co-edited (with Gail Twersky Reimer) Reading Ruth: Contemporary Women Reclaim a Sacred Story (Ballantine, 1994) and the forthcoming Beginning Anew: A women's companion to the High Holy Days (Simon and Schuster).
