Pondering on the future is fascinating. Astrological Horoscopes, based on Planet movement and positions, supposedly can look ahead in time and can tell our future. Astrologers and readers of all types can look at cards, palms, tea leaves, the wrinkles on your brow, and claim that they too can tell what lies ahead for us.

Some opine that our futures have already been mapped out for us, others consider this thinking nonsense. They believe that our future is of our own making. We are fashioning it like Morley's chain, link by link.

Is life predestined or is it self fulfilling? This question has haunted man for ages.

* Homer wrote: "No man or woman born, coward or brave, can shun his destiny."
* Goethe said: "Man supposes that he directs his life and governs his actions, when his existence is irretrievably under control of destiny."
* But someone else opined: "To believe that the future is predestined by nonhuman causes save men from the trouble of doing."
* Balfour wrote: "Destiny is a scapegoat which we make responsible for all our crimes and follies; a necessity which we set down for invincible when we have no wish to strive against it."
* And Epicurus put it this way: "A strict belief in fate is the worst kind of slavery; on the other hand there is comfort in the thought that God will be moved by our prayers."

I don't believe in fate - in a predestined, fixed, irrevocable future. I believe that we are masters of ourselves with the ability to control what we are, what we are to become and where we are going. We have been fashioned somewhat by cultural values, social habits, religious practices, by how our particular society lives and exists. But we have individual desires and needs and ambitions. Each person who has the initiative and the spirit of quest in him can do whatever he sets his mind to doing. We cannot be limited by the idea that we must blunder along in the footsteps of tradition. We can reach a state of individual attainment hitherto unsuspected of being within our grasp.

Back in the days of the cave one individual stood more erect than the others and hollered out that he was going to be their leader. Somewhere along the line someone challenged him for that position and so it evolved. Most progress of civilization has been made on materialistic levels - a better cave to live in, a better hunting ground, tools to make our work easier and more productive, improvement of those tools, anything that would contribute to improvement of a life style all the way to the corner office.

From the cave, to the tent, to the village, to the town, to the city; man has challenged each other to be leader of the pack - to a position of power. What made an individual take initiatives and stand out from the rest? Were these individuals predestined to rise above the others or did they take it upon themselves to do it?

How about you?
Are you an achiever, a winner - or a loser?
Where do you think you fit in the scheme of things? Do you think you have the will and the ability to take your life style to greater heights or are you one of those who just exists and accepts what life offers?

If you were to look into your future right now - what would you see?

Based on your past and present circumstances and conditions you can make a pretty good guess about your future. - most likely it will be little different than your present life style.

NOW - What would you LIKE TO SEE?

A bigger house, a better job, making more money, a life style steps ahead of your present one?

To achieve what you 'see' in that future you must formulate some plan to bring it to fruition. To some this comes easy. Everything they try turns out OK without much effort it seems. Others have to struggle hard to meet their objectives. Some never reach them no matter how hard they try. Still others never even bother to set goals.

What makes one person an easy achiever - always ready to take on new challenges, always ready to better his life style as opposed to another who is complacent, satisfied with what is thrown his way. What is the driving force behind each individual?

Maybe that achieving individual instinctively found the power within himself that gives him the confidence, the will to achieve and succeed.

There is no yard stick to measure success. One may consider himself successful by just having a basic comfortable life style. Another considers himself successful only if he lives on the house on the hill and rubs elbows with the upper crust. And some others consider themselves successful if they are the upper crust. Only you know your personal desires and to what degree of success you want to gravitate to and in what areas. Remember one thing - you must approach the way to your personal success with a positive attitude and with the conviction that you will attain what you desire. Plant a tomato seed and a tomato is sure to grow. Use that as an analogy. Whenever you do something expect it to produce.

What does success mean to you? What would you like to succeed in right now?
Is it acquiring wealth, finding true romance, career advancement, personal growth, spiritual gratification? If you plunge in and reach out for an objective right now, what do you think are your chances of succeeding?

HERE LIES THE SECRET TO SUCCEEDING - What YOU think.

If you think SUCCESS and really mean it - you will succeed! If you think that you may fail, if you have doubts - you are doomed to FAIL. Remember the tomato analogy.

Man has been referred to as a rudderless ship cast adrift on the sea of destiny. Currents carry some to tranquil waters, others have to fight turbulent waves to get to where they want to go, others are just left adrift to flow with the tides. For each, somewhere in the dark, lies a safe harbor or an endless stormy sea. You have the power to 'make your ship come in'. You are not a rudderless ship - you have a steering mechanism - your will. You can battle the mighty currents, weather the stormy seas and steer into a safe harbor if you have the will to do so. You have a God given will power. But you also have other forces within you that control and guide your being.

There is some scientific evidence that we follow rhythmic cycles which were set in motion at our birth when we were set free from our mother's support system and which follow us throughout our life. These cycle forces seem to navigate in fixed rhythms that effect our physical body, our emotions, our intellect. These Biorhythms impose positive and negative charges that we react to. Knowing the rise and fall of these cycles and their influence on us at different levels enables us to take advantage of their influence and adjust our decision making, our behavior and our actions so we can direct ourselves in rhythm with the aspects of the cycles. It will help us to deal effectively with activities and circumstances in our lives and let us evade situations that may be detrimental to our well-being and act upon situations that will be beneficial to us. This is the secret that self-made successful people have discovered. They have tapped on to their life cycles that have guided them to where they are.

After some research in my personal life and lives of other people and their accomplishments and failures I have discovered and analyzed the rhythm of a cycle separate from the three Biological rhythms. One that determines our intuitiveness. This cycle controls the Psychic ability we all possess - THIS IS OUR PSYCHIC CYCLE.

We all have experienced psychic manifestations. We all have experienced incidents when we know the identity of a telephone caller - even before the phone rings, know who is coming to visit, or had thoughts about someone and later found out they were thinking about you at that exact same time. This phenomena occurs randomly. We generally don't keep track of the frequency or the nature of the experiences and generally chalked them off as coincidences, matters of chance, women's intuition, or as hunches. But beyond seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching there is a sixth sense at work which goes far beyond the physical senses. It is referred to as an Extra Sense or Sixth Sense and if we are sensitive to it we are said to possess Extra Sensory Perception. In truth everyone possesses some degree of this sensitivity. Some are more attuned to it than others. It may be found in people who are young or old, in people who possess brilliant minds and in those of average intelligence.

This psychic potential manifests itself in many ways. Sometimes when we have to make decisions or take some form of action we know exactly what to do, but at other times and on similar circumstances we are not so sure of what action to take. People who always seem to be in the right place at the right time, and for whom good things happen with uncanny frequency, are not just plain lucky - they have an intuitive sense of choosing, deciding and how to act to a given situation. Intuitive revelations steer the course for man to discover and invent and creative talents to originate.

What makes the difference on how we react from one time to another? Could it be that on a certain time frame we are intuitively more alert as opposed to other times when we seem to have a tough time taking control of situations? Why is it that creative people have creative periods and then be dormant at other periods of time? Our intuitive functionality is governed by our personal Psychic Cycle that started on the day of our birth and will continue to the day we die. This cycle governs our intuition, our ability to sense beyond the normal senses. It can tell YOU when, how and what YOU should do to benefit YOU.

Science calls this ability Extra Sensory Perception (ESP). Clinical evidence suggests that everyone has some form of Psychic potential although it may lie latent. It is 'potential' and as such, it is something that we can conceivably develop and tap into in a reliable degree. Developing your Psychic ability can be accomplished if you know when you are Psychically active. You can then use this knowledge to react to current events and know what action to take immediately, what to delay to a better cyclical period. You will intuitively know what to do or not do when you know what days are likely to produce 'failure' and what days are likely to produce 'success'.

A person usually gets what he or she actively expects. By expecting the very best as a way of life you are preparing yourself emotionally, physically, mentally, and psychically for the demands of being an achiever and a winner. Don't be satisfied with just existing in this life. Life is to be enjoyed. Set a foundation now that will assure you a comfortable secure tomorrow.

Look at the lives of the rich and famous. Not all are products of inheritance. Most came from humble beginnings and some from pure poverty. But they all had one thing that set them apart - they had the desire and determination to better themselves - to be achievers - to be winners. Your Psychic Cycle will tell you when you can achieve. Life is too precious to waste. Make every moment of it count.

You may already be a successful secure person either by inheriting your status or by your own determination, obviously instinctively following your life cycles, although you may not have even been aware of them. You are a lucky person - continue your good fortune. You may be standing on the dock waiting for direction to test the waters of success - do it NOW. If you are one who is a 'reject' of success, one who has tried and tried and failed and has accepted the existence that 'fate' has handed you - don't despair. TRY AGAIN. Follow your personal Psychic Cycle and rekindle the flame which will be your beacon to lead you to successes beyond your dreams.

No matter how far down you are on the social ladder, there is always hope that you can move up. There are people living in deplorable conditions in roach infested tenements, in low-income housing projects, in crime ridden areas. Some have to count pennies to make ends meet. That's no way to live, but some have accepted it as a way of life. Some pick themselves up, virtually by their own boot straps, and find ways out of deplorable existences. NEVER LOSE HOPE! Make plans to better yourself. Set attainable goals and go about achieving them. You can't sit on your fanny in front of a TV slurping beer day after day waiting for lady luck to come knocking on your door. Luck is an elusive lady and most times she never shows up. You have to go looking for her and invite her in. YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK.

I recall the story of the young boy who saved some pennies and went down to a farm and bought some apples. He took them to the market place in town and sold them. The following week, with the profits, he bought more apples and sold them. He did this week after week, each time buying more and more apples. In a few years he went down and bought the farm. You will be surprised what can be done to improve yourself financially if you put your mind to it. I'm sure you've heard the expression 'money talks'. It certainly does! One measure of success is how much money you make and how much you have accumulated. Some claim that 'money is the root of success' while others say that 'money is the root of all evil'. We often also hear that you don't need money to be happy. That may be true if you enter a convent or monastery and subscribe to a life of poverty - but in the real world you need to have money to survive in a conventional way.

I don't want to seem materialistic but money can be the difference between a full belly and going hungry, between sleeping in a comfortable bed or in a wooden slab in some home for the homeless, or the difference from seeing happy or sad faces on your children on Christmas morning. These are hard realities - but whoever said that life is supposed to be easy.

If you've accepted a life style without the good things that the world has to offer - I pity you - but I do not feel sorry for you because, most likely, you allowed it to happen. We all have a free will and control of ourselves and the ability to get the comforts, the pleasures, the happiness, the luxuries that life has to offer. But we must WORK for them. To some people 'work' is a nasty four letter word to be avoided or kept at a distance. But like it or not, like birth, taxes, and death, you can't escape it and live a normal fulfilling life.

Unfortunately many people do not work hard enough to better themselves. There is always a way! Don't accept being defeated by the problems handed you. Don't whine and curse the bad breaks and dwell on the negative aspects. Instead think of positive solutions to the problems. Think defeat and you are sure to be defeated. Practice thinking confident thoughts and you will develop a strong sense of faith in yourself. Develop a strong belief in the power within you and eventually you'll feel a stronger power engulfing you. You will discover the basic truths that have guided mankind for centuries: the teachings of the great prophets - the wisdom of a Higher Source.

Religious beliefs are not contrary to the belief in rhythmic existence because they are part of nature and nature is a creation of God. Don't feel that by following these theories you are somehow violating your religious beliefs. My philosophy on achieving success through positive thinking is basically the same as that of Norman Vincent Peale. His book 'The Power of Positive Thinking' is a great support for rhythmic cycle living. I suggest that everyone read it.

To follow the Psychic Cycle success program you must feel absolutely comfortable with it, assuring yourself that it does not violate any religious beliefs that you may have, nor should it be in contradiction with any cultural traditions that you may live by.
