T-FAL, a company that claims to have invented the nonstick frying pan in the 1950’s, now offers nonstick cookware that can be used with metal utensils. The stainless steel Soho 8 Piece Set ($129.99) is comprised of a 7.4 quart covered stockpot, a 2.4 quart covered saucepan, a 1.2 quart covered saucepan, a 9.5 inch coated sauté, and a 8 inch coated sauté.
In addition to a durable non-stick interior, the sautés also have a unique heat indicator that indicates when the pan is properly preheated.
The 18/10 stainless steel pots have encapsulated aluminum cores that evenly distribute heat, eliminate hot spots and prevent warping. Interior measuring marks keep recipes on track. Other features include stainless steel handles wrapped in stay-cool grips and tempered glass lids. Dishwasher safe; oven safe to 350°F.
