Did you know there was an EEFMS song?  A fan from Nyack, NY remembers the lyrics and e-mailed them in to the Kovacs Lost & Found here at the website.  Hum along, you early eyeballers you:

(to the tune of "our alma mater")
"Hail to thee oh EEFMS members
Be so brave and strong
From warm July to cold December
Sing our EEFMS song

EEFMS Oh EEFMS
EEFMS Oh EEFMS
We say this now with no misgiving
If you're not EEFMS you're not living"

And speaking of WhiteStar Home Video, for all of you who are looking to buy VHS or DVD of Kovacs shows...

Allen der hepcats und beboppers will be happy to know that Whitestar Homevideo has released "The Best of Ernie Kovacs" on DVD. It's a great 2 disc set, with 6 hours of material.  The 2-disc set is comprised of vols 1-5 of the Best of Ernie Kovacs (which is the 10 half-hour shows shown over PBS during the late 70's), plus an additional hour of material which includes Edie's Marilyn Monroe impersonation, some "Take A Good Look" clips, and a complete episode of The Ernie Kovacs Show (not seen since 1960)!  I haven't seen the extras myself, but will report on them once I have.  In short, it's a great package for all Kovacs lovers.  Click on the DVD cover to go straight to Whitestar's site and buy it.  (But, for pete's sake...come back when yer done!)
