DESCRIPTION
This is a very advanced TripMate & EarthMate Utility program.
NEWEST FEATURE
o-Now works (and doesn't crash> with the EarthMate (3/10/1999)
FEATURES
o-Now Supports Both TripMate and EarthMate
o-Now Supports DGPS via internet connectiion to dgps.wsrcc.com
--(If your getting DGPS corrections "Solution Valid" will be '4' and
--values in the second to right most column will be greater than 7)
o-DDE connectable...Click on text boxes and the DDE item name
--shows in DDE-NAME box. You can connect to these items using the
--DDE shorthand of "vbsat|main!item".
o-Turns position pinning OFF
o-Plots position movement from SA (if not DGPS connected)
o-Averages position over time
o-All DOPS are output
o-Bar graphs of signal strength
o-Plots can now be saved to disk (ie GRAPHXX.BMP)
o-Plots can cleared w/wo recentering on new average position
o-displays GPS week and SECONDS
o-displays current SPEED and COURSE
o-does not update position average, and graph until position is valid
o-plot pull down menu now has a choice to modify plot width
o-now decodes 6 out of 13 messages (i.e. 1000,1001,1002,1003,1007,1135)
o-now lets you mask on/off which sats to use in the solution (i.e. msg #1213)
o-now turns on protocol messages 1001 and 1007
o-now lets you increase baud rate from 4800 to 9600 (to increase bandwidth)
o-Second screen (i.e. "S" button) now displays raw data TM uses in solution.
o-now uploads a wider elevation mask to TM (i.e. msg #1212)

TO DOWNLOAD THE WHOLE PACKAGE (If this is your first time) fetch the
following 3 files, and run "setup.exe"

If your using a version of VBSAT released before 1/1/2000 with an EarthMate, DO NOT increase baud rate
Doing so will get your Earthmate wedged at the wrong baud rate of 19200
To unwedge download bor2.exe and execute it only once
