This monthly magazine provides a detailed list of educational programming on a 
wide variety of networks. Listings include: A&E, BET, Bravo, C-Span, CNBC/MSNBC, 
CNN, Court TV, DIscover Networks, ESPN2, Family Channel, Food Network, History 
Channel, Knowledge TV, Lifetime, MTV, Nickelodeon, Odyssey, Ovation, PBS, Sci-Fi 
Channel, Showtime, TNT, Toon, USA, WAM, and the Weather Classroom. Many of 
these networks offer support materials for educators either free or for purchase.
Discovery Network
       
This website has many resources for educators about educational programs 
available on the Discovery Channel.  The Discovery Channel School includes a guide 
for educators with information about teaching with video. Available on this site are a 
monthly calendar of programs, viewing procedure tips, classroom activities, a 
teacher discussion area, weblinks, and a lesson plan library.
 CNN Newsroom
 
CNN Newsroom is an instructional news program for teachers.  This news show 
reports about current world and regional stories.  Daily features include: Environment
Desk, Health, Business Desk, Science Desk, and, Editor's Desk.  A classroom guide is 
available on-line containing information about each news story. The program is commercial 
free and is free to schools enrolled in the program.
