Making television requires students to learn to become team members and rely on each others' skills to problem solve and time manage. Students learn the value of bringing an idea from conception to completion. As projects are being produced students work together to determine topic ideas, plan storyboards, shoot video, view and evaluate raw footage, edit, complete and present projects to other classmates or on the local public access channel, SETV. As students become more familiar with creating video, they learn the importance of media literacy. Television production when integrated with other subjects can provide a unique opportunity to enhance learning.
