Braemar Castle

17th Century

Braemar is located in the gorgeous central Highland area, right near the town of...you guessed it, Braemar. The mountainous area is very beautiful. So much so that the English royals apparently come here during the summer. We didn't see them, but then again, we ate in the pub.

The castle was not open for tours at the time, so this is as close as we were able to get.
