Huntly Castle

15th Century

Huntly Castle, located up in the NE "castle ring" area was another winner. Some good restoration has been done allowing for lots of exploring of interesting castle-like ruins. The lowest part of the front of the castle housed the old prison. It was down a long, dark tunnel. The prison was a large, deep hole-like room that looked pretty spooky even now.
