Suddenly, someone bangs on the door.  Angelique's
eyes turn in its direction.
Gabriel says, "Charles, I want to talk to my wife.
I know she's in there.  Now, open the door!"
ANGELIQUE LAUGHS HYSTERICALLY AS CHARLES KISSES
HER THROAT.  HE SAYS, "FOR MORE OF YOUR DREARY
MORALIZING."
GABRIEL BANGS AGAIN.
"OPEN THE DOOR!"
CHARLES CONTINUES TO PASSIONATELY KISS AND FONDLE
ANGELIQUE.
"TRY MY PATIENCE, BROTHER."
GABRIEL ANGRILY SCREAMS, "FOR THE LAST TIME, OPEN
THE DOOR!"
HE BANGS AGAIN AND AGAIN, BUT THEIR PASSION
PERSISTS.
Finally, Charles pulls away and gets up off the
couch as Angelique says, "Let him in."
