Pedro Martinez racked up an impressive total of 19 strikeouts as the
California Angels topped the Toronto BlueJays by a score of 4 to 0 at The
Skydome.

Martinez(3-0) was virtually untouchable.  He didn't allow much, just 6 hits
and no walks in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 2.16 to 1.40.  California
finished with 9 hits in the victory.  

Juan Guzman(1-2) took the loss. 'Everything felt great' Martinez said. 'I had
a good fastball, I felt I could throw it by everybody tonight.'
