The Kansas City Royals defeated the Seattle Mariners by a score of 6 to 3 at
SAFECO Field.

Kansas City claimed the early lead in the first inning scoring 4 runners on 4
hits.  That early scoring was all that Matt Clement(1-1) needed.  Kansas City
finished with 10 hits while Seattle ended up with 6.  

Danny Graves recorded the save, his 3rd.  C.C. Sabathia(0-2) was charged with
the loss.  He was knocked around, surrendering 5 runs in 4 innings.
