Morgan Ensberg rocketed 2 homeruns as the Colorado Rockies ballclub
embarrassed the Pittsburgh Pirates by the count of 19 to 8.

Ensberg was spectacular at the plate. The hometown fans showed their
appreciation with a standing ovation his last time at bat. He caught a hold
of a fastball for a Grand Slam homerun in the 5th inning, doubled in the 7th
inning and emptied the bases with a Grand Slam homerun (his 4th of the
season) in the 8th inning. Colorado kept the scorekeepers busy in the 5th
inning with 5 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning when they had 9 runs on 5
hits. Colorado had 16 hits overall, while Pittsburgh had 11.

The victory went to Steve Reed(4-3) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing no
runs. The losing pitcher was John Lackey(6-3). He was touched for 4 homeruns
in his 4 and 1/3 innings of work.

'I just got in the box, looked for a pitch and swung,' Ensberg said. 'That's
