Please Help Us
We would like to share with you a promising event now taking place
in Sharon – the building of a park on the corner of Pond and Beach Streets.
It is a grass roots project involving over a dozen town and civic
organizations and dozens of individuals of all ages. High school athletes
have dug holes and grade school children have filled them with daffodil
bulbs. Parents, senior citizens, and entire families have all contributed
in different ways, from making and filling coin cans, to buying T-shirts,
to digging out weeds. It is truly a community endeavor.
This project is not Town funded and will require more than $50,000 to
complete. We are looking to potential donors, like you, to help us build
this park. Beech Tree Park will be an oasis to visit: a passive
recreational area for all residents to sit, relax and view nature.
You can help make this a reality.
The committee would like to continue to develop and furnish Beech Tree
Park without adding to the taxpayer burden, by using donations of money
and volunteer labor.
Anything you are able to contribution will be greatly appreciated by all
of Sharon and will, of course, be tax deductible. We look forward to
your participation in building Beech Tree Park, and will take the liberty
of calling you in the near future to answer any questions you may have.
